Fees
MBI tuition (new scheme from WS 2007/08 on)
Tuition depends on the study mode (online, blended, full-time, part-time, internship vs. project option in the final semester). It is paid by semester and is due before the semester starts.
Regular Rates
Tuition is based on the number of courses in a semester. Full-time equivalent is 5 courses. The closing period (exam, thesis, project/internship) has separate schemes: scheme 1 for students doing an internship, scheme 2 for students doing a project.
Cost per course: 440 Euro
Closing scheme 1: 880 Euro (scheme 2: 1,145 Euro)
Reduced Rates
Students from countries with a low standard of living (World Bank classification) who live in such countries are eligible for reduced rates.
Cost per course: 260 Euro
Closing scheme 1: 520 Euro (scheme 2: 676 Euro)
Discount for full-time students: 60 Euro per semester.
Blended Mode
Blended mode I: You spend one semester (usually the first) at the European University Viadrina and take some face-to-face courses. Tuition for the other semesters is computed as above.
Blended mode II (ERP/SCM track): You spend two semesters at EUV and take, in addition to mode I, ERP, SCM and related courses. Cost per face-to-face-semester: 1,250 Euro
Administrative Fees
An additional administrative fee of approximately 120 Euro is to be paid to EUV every semester.
Sample Calculation
A part-time student taking 3 courses per semester (regular rates) pays per semester:
440*3 + 120 = 1,440 Euro.
The total cost is:
- MBI program, scheme 1: 440*15 + 880 = 7,480 Euro
- EUV fees for 6 semesters: 120*6 = 720 Euro
Payment is accepted by bank transfer and by credit card. Details for payment are given in the admission letters.
Certificate courses tuition
Most certificate courses (individual one-semester courses) cost 600 Euro (plus VAT as applicable). Discount is 20 % on the second, third, etc. course if you take more than one course.
Additional expenses
Additional expenses will occur in some courses for software licences and textbooks. However, our policy is to provide student access to software installations on our servers if the software is costly. Low-cost products are expected to be purchased by the student. Regarding books, many are available today in electronic versions for free download. However, if a certain course follows a specific textbook then you may be asked to get a copy of the book from a local or an Internet bookstore.
If you need help or more information please do not hesitate to e-mail our staff at administration(at)vg-u.de.
